Yaiba - This is the manga by Aoyama Gosho, best known for Detective Conan. It's basically a samurai manga about a boy named Yaiba Kurogane and how he grows into becoming the best swordsman. It's leaned more on comedy during the first few volumes, but gets more serious in the later volumes and the fight intensifies.
We'll be starting with Vol 5, Chapter 1 for this one. Torrents can be found in the torrents section. A special thanks goes to Toriyama World who translated previous volumes.

Hey, just wanted to say hi to the guys working on Yaiba, and to tell 'em to keep up the good work. It was really nostalgic for me, seeing how the anime adaptation was more or less the first anime I've ever watched. Wonder why they didn't push through with it? Anyway, hope you guys'll finish it real soon; can't wait to find out what happens!

Hi sorry to ask a more than likely newb question, but why does the manga have 9 volumes on the top page, and then start with volume 4 which is apperently new....why isn't the new stuff volume 10:S

Bunko version
The original 8 volumes were done from the original version, we're using scans from the Bunko version to reduce turnaround time (yeah, its still a while between releases, but thats because durendal is our do-it-all guy).. Basically one volume of the bunko is equal to about 2 volumes of the original manga.. yeah it screws up the numbering a bit, sorry..
